Three little words. These three little words
make you happy, and uncomfortable.
Without them, your body starves.
They drain you.
The mind cannot focus, cannot think
for all energy turns to it concentrating with
the utmost desire to capture it.
Three little words combined outweigh
all reason, all sanity, all importance
for these words govern the natural course of life.
Ignorance, however unlikely, may subdue these
words keeping them from conscious,
but eventually they return in thoughts;
in feelings inescapably.
Three little words embody weakness,
your weakness,
your need for comfort.
Only the mandate to breathe
surpasses these three little words.
Do you hear them?
I, too, am hungry.
