Been a while since I posted.
Caught the flu on Saturday, but fortunately it was raining so we wouldn't have been able to paint anyway. Spent Saturday mostly unconscious, or in a haze for the brief moments that I could will myself out of bed, take some Tylenol, and drink some fluids. I recall also trying to watch T.V. and catching bits and pieces of "Bridget Jones Diary" on some channel.
Sunday was back to my job painting. I have been currently training a new worker over the last week, and he's a nice enough guy, and has a good attitude, but he has two really big downsides.
1. He's doesn't like ladders...well at least getting up on them for anything anything above 10 feet.
2. He's a messy painter. As in he gets paint splatters on surfaces that are really hard to get off such as Brick, or concrete, and he's not careful where to set a drop cloth so he can avoid it.
So the job took extra time then we originally thought, and
I'm starting to have nightmares where I come home and there's oil based paint thats been splattered all over the floor.
Hopefully the job tomorrow will go more smoothly, especially for my new worker. I think he's getting a bit tired of me and Dena being on his case, but he's got to really get over his discomfort with ladders because it's becoming a big problem.
