Oh ho ho...

Well, it`s that time again. I now have access to internet (via my er, neighbor) and so between looking at porn and pirating music I am free to post on lj again. However, because it`s been so long and so many things have happened since Kyoto I`ll need to do a list-type recap with only abbreviated sarcasm.

Here we go:

Kyoto- Managed to upgrade my Japanese thanks to an expensive summer course and a fantastic host family. I lost a lot of money and English in the process but hell, it was an educating summer and worth it. And I want to thank the Onos (my host family) for making fun of Mark a lot. It cheered me greatly.

Mt. Fuji- You`ve all heard of this colossal symbol of Japan right? Well, Ross and I suffered two endless 13 hour train rides to climb it and climb it we did. Note to those hoping to tackle it in the near future; This will be the only time you pay 800yen for a bowl of instant ramen and think it a gift from the gods. It is *fucking* cold waiting up top for sunrise there. Do be tempted to warm your hands in the steam, but avoid sticking them all the way in or you`ll be fishing fuzz out of the broth. And disgusting your table neighbors... (pictures coming soon)

Iwakuni- New restaurants, new shops, same smell as Ube...

Personal: I am still messing around with a ginger, I have shorn all of my hair off this time, and I will be auctioning off my artwork at a charity event. So, all in all, pretty good. I am also going home for christmas so the prospect of cafes delight me.

Halloween- I was Hermes in a self-constructed toga (very complicated sheet tying here) and Ross DJed along with Stirling. (Baaaaaaaaaaaaywaaaaaaatch!) A big plus being that this year I didn`t have to be carried home but instead returned the favor to Ross and carried him home. Hahahahaha.

Here are some pics courtesy of Tammy (she in the pink wig and fishnets) (oh boy):

There are more but until I get a chance to minimize and crop them I`m only putting up these.

And finally, today: I have 1st, 5th, and 6th period which means that I did my first class then buggered off home where I have been drinking coffee and jumping on the bed. I shall return to `work` shortly. What a life.
