Amazing what can be done with such a language.

The "best" demo for me is still Gmail.

Mind you I am reminded of the "Wolf 3D" demo one of the C64 hackers was working on at the UCC.

He had the walls all in place, and you could move through it with a joystick.

You know, I can't remember!

It was (thinks hard) some time in 92 or 93 from memory.

(I joined the UCC to have somewhere to hang out while I waited for my then girlfriend to finish her Latin classes. I was studying at Curtin at the time)

That's quite fabulous, and a very clever technique. It's a pity CSS doesn't support textured borders.
