It's not that they don't know the word. Heck, even my two-year-old has heard the f-word. Most of my kids have more than likely read, said, and written the f-word in their lives up-to-date. And most of their parents don't like that at all. That's not really the point though, is it? The point is that the word is indecent. For someone like me who is in a position where people look up to me, it is very important to maintain an outward appearance of decency.
Now a word for your sponsor: I will freely admit that I was embarrassed to have misspelled the last name of one of my favorite authors. I was also very frustrated to have been targeted by a troll. The fact that you have friended me is not the problem in and of itself. Many people have friended me that I have not returned the favor to. The problem is what you have chosen to name yourself.
To call yourself f-ing moron is your own prerogative to be sure. If you had chosen to name yourself anything similar like pathetic moron, complete moron, supreme idiot, etc. etc., you could be just as rude without giving people any just cause to ask you to remove them from your friends list. As it stands now, you have no right to paste your name on people's personal pages that find the f-word to be offensive. Are you even checking on the ages of these people? It seems to me like you are being very inconsiderate and childish with your supremacist fancies.
I will be honest here. I am going to bring this matter over your head if you can't prove to be decent person. I'm telling you now so that you won't think I am a sneaky person. I don't know what it will yield, but livejournal users must have some rights against being attacked by trolls.
