Livejournal is so Emo. I told Lopez that I'm emo because I needed to update this today. His reply: "EEEEWWWWW DONT SAY THAT! You are too good looking to be emo." I love my Lopey.
So, had another power failure at my apartment last night around 2:30 a.m. I woke up to the sound of my stereo turning back on. It scared the hell out of me. I had to reset my clock and alarm so that I didn't oversleep. I peed and went back to bed around 3. Slept fine for the 4 hours until my alarm went off. Uggggh. Now I'm here at work till 5 then going to a movie screening at Kendall with my roommate. Tomorrow night I'm supposed to go to Erik's show at the Linwood but I dunno if I want to spend the 10 bucks on the show. Tool tickets go onsale soon and, well, as you readers know Tool is my top priority! I am getting Matt and I tickets asap. I wish I could buy a few more, but I cant buy them for friends and wait to be reimbursed. I dont have the cash with all the bills coming up. Sorry kids. I guess this time it's fend for youself sadly. I dont have a credit card (because they are evil) so. . .all I have is my checking account to work with. Gots to keep money in there. On to new business. .
The 25th is coming up soon. It will be a year that Nicky has been gone. I hate marking anniversaries for deaths. Why is it that a number can scare the hell out of you so badly? Well maybe scare is a bad word: depressed is more like it. This year has gone by so fast. I dunno how to feel about it. Lopez took the day off work. He is taking his motorcycle to the dam and having his own time. I might go down to the Boston Harbor and write. Get myself some Mike's Pastry and have my own alone time. Who knows. Nina wants me to go see Gone baby Gone with her that night. Our pal JC just joined the band. I guess I will play it by ear.
Thats all for now. Below is a pic I took of Nicky at the Skyline Diner 4th of July weekend last year. It was the last night I saw him. It's his infamous Cheddar Bagel Face. Anytime he got within 5 feet of his favorite food he wood make this face. Love you mister.
