Yannick like any other man was afraid of dying. Yet he could simply not except that this day would come. Some are able to put it off in the back of their minds and simply forget that death could be right around the corner or many years over the horzion. Others dwell on death once in a while and think how disapointing it may be when it happens to them or someone they love but they ultmately come to the conclusion that its best not to dwell on it. Then there are the people who will greet death with a grin and tell it to take its best shot, they are ready and waiting, if not mocking death to its face. Yannick did not fall into any of these categories. Yannick KNEW death was right around the corner and his time would be up sooner than he expected. His thoughts constantly thought about spontaneous combustion, stray bullets, lost brakes, freak murders, and any other combination one could think of.
"it happend to him and her and that person so it could be me any minute" was a thought that constantly crossed his mind no less than 47 times a day.
Despite living in a misreably constant fear of death Yannick was a very succesful man. He was able to find money in rain that fell from the sky and turn waste into gold. One reason he was so succesful may be quite obvious. He had to have the safest objects for everyday life to ensure his death would not come sooner than later.
