Pancakes for breakfast, and downright friendly ones at that. Not that they're inherently rude to begin with, it wouldn't be proper to start the morning off like that. Still, these are just about perfect.

I think it's going to be a good day.

Yes! When they were sitting on my plate, they reminded me of the tzompantli. The skull rack.

The little heads without bodies. They are like decapitated skulls. On the plate they resemble the skull rack.
