Yeah, that would be really sad. Well... maybe those things could change? I mean, things aren't always the way we think they should be. Obviously.

No, I'm pretty sure you two are stubborn too. *laughs*

Uh-huh. Little kids? Easy to get lost or... squished which would be beyond bad. I should probably get those little plugs for the outlets in my house, shouldn't I? I mean, kids are curious too.

Well, does it feel right? Like... does it feel like moving at a good speed? Is the speed right for you two?

Nope. I'm pretty sure that's it that we came up with.
Shouldn't visions be clear if they're supposed to help people?

You're serious? Winifred Burkle: High School Alien Conspiracy Theorist?

Yeah. Which is probably better if he doesn't, but he still would.

Thanks, Fred. I really do appreciate it. I don't know. Xander seems to like the idea of him having powers. But we're talking to a guy who still enjoys comic books. (Do guys ever outgrow that sort of thing?) So, I get where he's coming from. He's been 'guy without powers'. Still, there are times that I'd completely switch places with him if I could.

Nope, probably not all that nutritious, but it's good and easy to make.

Fair enough. Again, at least his mother is sweet.

Well, maybe you're starting to help him see that?

Maybe he will. Dawn would probably be able to convince him. Though, I'm not so sure we should go that route.

Yeah, I know. And I don't doubt I could eventually convince Wesley of this, but his father? Do you really think there's a hope in hell on that one Faith? The man hates me for reasons that have nothing to do with who I am as a person.

Good, because doubting that may be a little on the dangerous side depending on the circumstances. *smirks*

Yeah, getting the little pluggie things for the outlets is probably a plan, as is child-proofing all kitchen and bathroom drawers and cabinets...but unless you're planning on having Charlie over soon, I think you and Xander have plenty of time there to get all that stuff done.

How do you do that? How do you simplify stuff down to the point where it's a yes or no answer and nothing else should factor in? 'Cause really? A little more than amazed at that. But yeah...it feels right. If it didn't...well, I'm not exactly the type to just sit there and do things as huge as the choices Wesley and I have made lately if it's not what I want.

Hypothetically yes, but sometimes if it's not like, urgent? They can be kinda fuzzy because they're like, one of a series or something...I'm sure it'll get cleared up soon. Don't worry.

Totally serious. Bit of a pothead for a few years there too, but shhh. Nobody knows that...

Oh, I know. I really do. But yeah, he really doesn't need to do that. I know he loves me.

Speaking as someone who used to question if I had any business being part of Angel Investigations...'cause really, I'm more of a liability than anything else...and most of where my strengths are, Wesley could handle, and did when I wasn't there, and I'm not really that great of a fighter, that was Angel and Charles' department, and Cordy has the visions... I can definitely see where Xander's coming from. He just wants to make sure he has a clear place and a purpose. As far as Noah goes...that probably does have more of a 'that'd be kinda neat' thing going on than actually wanting your son to have powers. And that? Goes back nicely to the comic thing.

Just make sure Noah gets something containing vitamins every so often. Kids need nutrients to grow.

I'm extremely happy his mother likes me... Not that I really see them having a huge part in our lives...but you know, major events down the line, it'd be nice to be able to keep in mind that one of his parents doesn't hate me. Without any factual reason beyond simple close-mindedness, anyway.

I really hope so.

Uh, yeah...that won't do either of them any good...really won't....

Okay, so that was a long reach. And cutting Wyndam-Pryce Sr. out of lives obviously not an option... so sadly isn't it one of those 'have to deal' things in life?

*laughs* Really, then?

Child-proofing things: check. Yeah, we'll have plenty of time to do that stuff before Noah comes.

I didn't know I did that. Is that a good thing? Also, glad that it feels right. It should. You two should be happy.

Well, let me know?

Naughty. Does Wes know about that? 'Cause seriously, you're shocking me right now.

Good. :)

Noah does, however, have a clear place and a purpose. Right now? Baby. Child. And we get to be parents and that's our place. - Still... I'm pretty un-nerved about the power possibility.

Sounds good. Popcorn and vitamins.

I'm going to go with 'at least the glass is half full'... or at least one of his parents aren't evil. So, yay?

I think you help him a lot, truthfully. If there's anyone's opinion who could mean more than his father's, it would be yours.

So, we'll go with hopefully you guys can convince him.
