On Holiday ^_^
I really have neglected my journal for several months now... I simply haven't had the time to write in here, unfortunately. First, there were final exams to study for, and plenty of Prefect business to keep me busy until the end of term. After that, I had to begin extensive preparations for the N.E.W.T.s, which has been my focus most of the summer. I was able to schedule my time in such a way so I could take a holiday to Bulgaria though, much to Viktor's delight. Besides, I don't need to be home to be studying. I took a whole extra bag of material to work on while I'm here.
You'd never think it, but during the summer, Bulgaria is such a beautiful place to be. I can't stop eating the sweet cherries Viktor keeps picking up for me! They're just so red, and so good, that I often forget I'm actually eating fruit, something good for me. Not to say Bulgarian candy isn't any good. I'm rather fond of this sweet cake Viktor and I shared the other day at a nice little café.
I hope everyone else is enjoying their break, even those that couldn't go away somewhere on holiday! I'm a bit worried about Ron and Harry, though. Have those two even bothered to open a book all summer, I wonder? Honestly, I don't want to be a nag, but the N.E.W.T.s are important, and you simply cannot afford to not prepare for them! Especially certain persons who wish to become aurors...
As much as Viktor wants me to stay longer, I'll be leaving for home in a few days. Viktor keeps trying to get me up on a broom, but I always refuse. Honestly, I don't want to come back to Hogwarts with a cracked skull!
