I think I am in love with 30 Rock. And by think, I mean I am. Tina Fey = love of my life... okay, not really, but she's frickin' hilarious. & Alec Baldwin is sooo funny!! What makes the show even more hilarious is that you know that Tina Fey writes it and yet her character is constantly being called old and mannish, and is just burned by everyone all the time. It's sooo funny... oh dear, I love being able to watch TV on the internet. It really solves that problem of, y'know, not having a TV. Of course, if Cnd iTunes sold the TV shows then I could pay for them and *not* illegally download... but I'll save that annoyance for another day.
Not much has been happening lately. My trip was all right, not what I expected, but good none-the-less. I think the trip there this summer will be more fun... mostly 'cause it will be a little more relaxed. We won't be trying to fit in ski days along with visiting the 100 people we need to see. The wedding will take care of the visits :) Btw, my cousin's fiance is awesome... I'm really happy for her.
I'm pretty excited for summer. My lovely girls are coming home in April (hopefully) before they head to Europe (lucky bitches) so I'll get to spend lots of time with them. And I just really want a real break. Because school is... CRAZY. My deadlines were friggin' nuts this past week. And I have a paper due Monday and a paper due Tuesday.. so that sucks. Especially since I had to ignore doing a bunch of reading to meet all of my journalism deadlines. Ohhh well... it all works itself out in the end.
I was talking to the lovely Kim Kierans (aka Director of the School of Journalims) and discovered I get to take 4 electives next year. That is crazy... I have so many decisions to make.
But anyway, I'll put that off until May because right NOW I have to go pick an essay topic... do you think I can go the rest of the school year without finishing reading Nietzsche? I could always try, but I'm afraid I might fail my oral exam... haha.
PS: I ordered some musical recordings a while ago when I renewed my love of theatre via Heather & youtube, and they arrived... but they're at my house, not at school, and I refused to allow my mom to bring them to me because I knew I would just listen to them all weekend and procrastinate. How mature am I?? (sorry, I am just impressed with myself hahaha)
