In other news, I have a bunch of Birthday Money (which sadly is not enough for what I really want: A Canon Digital Rebel XT or XTi...*CRIES*), sooo with some of the $$ I want to buy this:

I need a new alarm, yo. I love my old one. However, after a drunken night when I took orange juice with me to bed, I spilled it and guess where a lot of it ended up? Basically: my alarm has never really recovered and it's hard to turn off (which is a PITA at 7am).
I'm worried about some of the older reviews of the first version...about it crapping out after a year or so. SO I wonder if for an extra $30 I should pay for buyer protection. Of course knowing MY luck the buyer protection wouldn't cover what would go wrong with mine.
