i most definetely like the public school side better (anti-conformity..blah blah blah all that good stuff..hahahha)
but a good point for private: in public education, you have a lot of rebelious kids who don't mind getting in trouble, and who hate being there and who misbeave beacoup. mais dans l'ecole pri- woah i just switched to french unknowingly ...that was sooo weird. anyway. but in private school, the kids don't misbehave as much (causing distractions) becuase 1) it may have been their choice to go there in the first place. 2) they're parents put them there and are paying for that, and so they know they will be disowned if they misbehave, 3) the disciplinary actions are more strict there, so as not to cause any distractions....
also, uniforms are equilizers amoungst peers. whereas a lot of people (mostly girls - sorry) are really judgmental of other people (mostly girls - sorry again) who don't wear designer clothes, or matching clothes, or if they wear something that they don't like, that could provoke them to never talk to them. so with the uniforms, it gives people no prior judgment.
more: there is more money to pay for more teachers for more classrooms for less students in each class, giving each student more one on one time with the teachers who can give t he students more attention. (less = more!)
of course, the obvious, more money for better materials, computers, books, projectors, all that good stuff. and the more money the teachers get paid, the more incentive they have to teach well. the more they want to teach becuase i mean....mean rich parents who are upset about their childrens' learning experiences....who'd want to deal with that?
