Yet ANOTHER Snow Day!
So last night I get off the phone with Andrew, it wasn't late around 10. I feel asleep like no other. I just was out, and I didn't wake up til my alarm clock said 5:59 (which it goes off at 6) but I never set it. So I get up, and look at my computer screen and this girl Kait, her msn name was something about no school. So I went on one of the local news channel websites and clicked school closings and low and behold NO SCHOOL! Now I was really confused on why it would be closed, so I looked outside and we did get a few more inches over night. Nothing I would personally consider to cancel school but hey if that's how it works i'll take a snow day. Hopefully the game gets cancelled AND I can still go on my date with kate. So my dad said the stupidiest thing I have ever heard him say today. Well its not stupid but he said I couldn't go to Pennsylvania on my mid-winter break to visit Andrew. I honestly did not think my dad would throw a fit like he is about going down there. I even told him I'd get my own hotel room to go to at some point during the night to sleep and still he said it doesn't matter. I mean common I want to go see Andrew, and this great place he's in love with so why can't I go? Hmm I wonder if I flew down for atleast like a day my dad would let me... Well I wouldnt be going for about four weeks so we can work on details of this plan soon and maybe my dad would consider it.
So I'm reading this book it is called The Earth, My Butt and Other BIG Round Things. THe story is about a girl around 16 who is overweight, and dealing with a lot of random things that most teens go through. The kicker is how funny the main character is, and how she comes about these real life problems. Mainly eating disorders, rape, being overweight, and dealing with parentals. Now I'm only about 200 pgs inward to this book, and there are about 50 more to go, but I have to say I really enjoyed this book. I have to say it made me realize how many random things I say in school that could offend someone with a few extra pounds. Now i'm not saying i'm a toothpick but I know i'm in my ideal weight, and my friends love to aww at my usually flat stomach.
Well now i'm tired, so i'm going to head back to bed because I DON'T HAVE SCHOOL :) Yay this is the best.. I'll update more later
