Lowering the light switches, putting a stepping stool in front of the water fountain, a booster seat in the back room's office chair and baby forks in the cafeteria aren't things that are going to make him feel welcome.

Quite the contrary. I think it would be more insulting to his pride if he were to be seen unable to turn the lights off, drink from the water fountain or to have guests enter his office only to immedietly exit when they fail to notice him behind the desk.
