all-nighter
My school year officially ended yesterday at around 1:30 PM. XD
It ended yesterday instead of Monday because I didn't get exempted from the Chem finals. I was so pissed/disappointed when I found out I didn't make it to 572 points. grar. I was so close though, at 558.1 points. I was disappointed since I KNOW that I could've made it to 572+, if only I didn't get so many deductions for tardiness. I got a -2 for each time I was late [which was basically all the time]. adjsgfjhasgf. Ohwell. At least I learned my lesson, right?
I guess I'm not TOO bitter about it since the test was multiple choice. 8D I only found out about that on the exam day itself, though. So I still pulled an all-nighter the night before to study for the test. gah. At first I was just going to study until 3 [I figured I'd wake up around 10 since the test was at 11:30], but then I found myself still awake at 5.. and still awake at 6. So I decided not to sleep since I convinced myself that I'd retain the chem stuff better if sleep didn't get in the way. XD
And then right after the test I had to rush home and get dressed for Manong Cholo's graduation - Manong Cholo's 3-hour graduation ceremony. -__- It started at 4, but we left the house at around 2:30 even though his school's only 15 minutes away. :P
After his graduation, we had to rush off again for the celebratory graduation dinner with the Montenegro family [since my cousin, Gundy (cooomee to Bio naa haha), also graduated]. Dinner was fun. :D The young people grabbed at the food like crazies while the oldies tut-tutted disapprovingly at our unladylike [we were mostly girls] behavior. bah. If we didn't grab those mozzarella sticks just as they were placed on the table, we wouldn't have had any at all. 8D
And tonight I'm pulling another all-nighter, but not for a chem-related reason. :P Our flight to Iloilo is at 5 am, and we're leaving the house at 2:30 [2 hours from now].
