Anytime Sqam, and I thank you for always beign such a good friend to me.,
^^
I will gladly stay on LJ to chat with yous.,
Wow a near complete party fatality? Ever since i stated platying here years ago with my home town group, that never happened, or happens., My closest big city, when they play evel campains they always kill each other off, and i mean always., But when i was playing a D&D Eberron campaign with them, right when Eberron was brand new, the player fatalities were few if any, but when i left we had started two parties, all of one party was annihialated, and the group i was with survived, and my character went on to be a really cool guy and did alot to save his blighted lind of Cyre., That was where i orinially pulled Orlandu Auberon from, the exiled lost prince of cyre, unifier of his lost land., My character made a floating/flying island of his main capital city, to house and give home to his blighted people., It wnet fairly well, and even in games, i rarely if ever die., *As far as Real Life RPG's go*
It is amazing to me, that you guys died so much.., here at one time we had to stop using the monster manual, because the creatures were too easy, we had to make our own or use alternate "Bad Guy" Characters to fight us.,
The word Epic comes to mind.,
^^
But we play really hard core here., If you need any ideas or pointers, go on ahead, you don't have to be bashful around me.,
The whole thing was somewhat poorly planned out...
We got into battle in a hallway that fit 2 people at a time, entering a room. So all the monsters had all the room and we couldn't get past them at first. Kyle kept rolling unnaturally well. And everyone else (other then me of course~ ^.^) rolled poorly. The people in front tried to get away and the people in back wanted to attack. Which ment the moving of positions exposed the weak person to 2 or 3 attacks of opportunity. ._. It was crazy. Everyone was really mad at Kyle and he tried to make it up with weaker battles. (Tho even then I got knocked out twice!) Honestly, he's not the best DM... he needs to learn a bit more. I'm sure he knows that.
Yeah.... Me thinks I need to take a break from DnD. I'm getting pretty frustrated with it and I find I lack the will to roleplay. Which is the whole point. Playing 2 different games every week is taking it's toll on me. Did you ever have too much DnD, Seth?
