Gregangelo Museum

Okay.  So I took Stacey & Brandon & Darrell out to the Gregangelo museum the other night.  Y'all have GOT TO SEE THIS.

I'm looking all over for a link to info and not finding one.  Looks like gregangelo.com is under a redesign.  But just take my word for it, it's one of the most astounding experiences I've ever had.  Museum inside a nondescript little house in St. Francis Woods in SF, that's full of 20 years' worth of art, and the artist himself takes you around on a 4-person tour and blows your MIND.

Anyway, it's got my creative mind all fired up and I'm interested in decorating my house again.  I'm working on the bedroom first.  My bedroom is an "enchanted forest" theme, and the walls are painted all wonderfully and the bed is astonishing and floating in the air and beautiful, and I made a cool clock, but I've sort of stopped there.

There's a meditation corner that's full of clutter and dust.  There are two pieces of art that need to be installed, and spaces left for several more pieces of art.  The curtains that lead into the room are the OLD curtains, which we just put back up after redecorating, for expedience.

I now have a million ideas for where to go.  I've become unstuck.  I want to start.  :)

One thing I have no experience with is sculpting.  I want to make some mushrooms.  Some big ones and some small ones.. different sizes, earthy, jeweled, wire frame, colorful, different types.. for a mushroom installation in the corner.  Anyone out there have sculpting experience (kate?)  Can we have a mushroom crafting night?

I also want new nightstands .. not sure whether I want to make those, or modify premade ones, or commission them.. but I have an idea of what I want.  I am also about to start gluing jewels onto everything.  Maybe I'll get a fancy glue gun for my birthday... hm.......

Isn't inspiration wonderful?

Also, I finally have an idea for the 3rd bathroom.  If you've been to my house, you know we take bathroom design to the limit.  This one, if it works out, will be amazing.  More on that perhaps later, it's still cooking up.  :)  HAVING A HOUSE IS SO FUN!!!
