A Photographic Retrospective of Summer 2007
Although Kelly, Andrew and I failed in our letterboxing escapades, we did succeed in stumbling upon geocache-ing (in which people take out a little trinket in the hidden box and then put one in and sign a little notebook. We put in hand sanitizer, took out a "BEST" bracelet and wrote Life Finds a Way in the notebook).
It was silly.
Also on this day Andrew decided to start on making his very own bug-in-amber-like-the-old-man-in-Jurassic-Park cane. The stuff we were using (resin sp?) is apparently somewhat toxic so we needed protective gloves and eyeware. We used our sunglasses and tried to not inhale it.
God also blessed us with not one but THREE lame mosquitos to capture that day that would have been perfect for the amber. They were trapped inside those cups in front of Kelly. Also, note that Andrew has given up on painting on the resin and just dunked it into the jar...much to me and Kelly's amused disapproval.
Andrew with one of the caught mosquitos. Sadly, it all came to nothing.
Ashley and I in Spring Lake park practicing the modeling moves we have learned from the great Tyra Banks.
Ashley, Kelly and I in the rainforest. This picture took a long time to take because someone kept breaking up and laughing (Kelly).
We are clearly in awe of the majesty of the rainforest. Although Kelly still looks a trifle more amused than awed.
Where are we?!
At world's end.
Lori and I were enjoying a lovely day at the beach when this random whore with dirty, hippie hair showed up and insisted on taking a picture with us. It was very uncomfortable.
Remember, if a fly drops dead on your picnic blanket, you have to burn it.
What a noble picture.
Ashley came up with this pose, I think. And I look like I'm trying to ram that log through my stomach.
Kelly is a god among men.
Five seconds after this picture was taken Ashley started making out with that goat. It was weird.
As much as we love Bennie, let's not forget Big Al.
Ashley has an animal fetish.
BENNIE!!!!
A windy day atopst Lucy the Margate Elephant.
LUCY!!!!
Oh, Lucy.
I like Ashley in the background.
More smiling wit our eyez.
A quaint street in Cape May. I like how Ashley's head is peeking into the picture all the way on the right. I did not notice that until the next day.
Nothing will blockus our love.
Porch Puppy.
The biggest fans of the 8 Films to Die For series. We have two more to finish in the fall. It shall be great.
