(no subject)
So the rest of track season is looking pretty bleak. Our 4x800 relay team that curretnly is ranked 2nd in class-A has lost one of its members. So pretty much... I can kiss the idea of going to New Englands goodbye (top 6 in the state, all classes included, get to go.). Theres a good chance that we'll win the league meet without our 2nd leg girl but there's about 4 teams up North that are faster than us (we don't see them at the league meet or compete with them during the seaosn...but they're class A as well). Our replacement for her is atleast 10 seconds slower (this is being generous) so yah, it sucks.
As for the 800... well
A. I've only provisionally qualified (2 seconds away from the actual qualifying time) and
B. Im ranked somewhere between 10 and 17th in the state. So basically I have no reason to hope there.
C. I apparently sprained my ankle yesterday
I was so reared up for our last couple of meets, but now I've lost most of my enthusiasm.
P.S some of the other captains went a tad bit crazy on coaches gifts and the total is 200 something dollars... and guess whose gonna have to pay a large sum of that if people don't hand in their 5 bucks? (ughhhhh)
P.P.S On a lighter note, Courtney and I finished our movie and it's pretty rad.
