There's a slightly mentally retarded girl in my photo class. At fisrt I thought she might be full fledged retarded becuase she had somebody come to the class with her (my guess is an aid or what not), but then through her continuous talking (that sounded as though it was through her nose) I learned far more than I ever wanted to.
Im a little scared becuase I think she drives... she is trying to get a job at a hospitol but she showed up for her interview 2 hours late. She use to be a dishwasher and had a very bad experiance wsith that. She's taking this photo class to explore her career options. However, she hasn't much money to explore this option with. As in..... when asked what kind of camea everyone has her response was a 1 time use one that she bought at Hannaford. Though it took her a long time to get to that conclusion becuase she was apparetnly under the impression it was a manual 35 mm.
She shaped sort of like..... an orange with legs and has the classic "dork" persona, but with a lack of brains twists. By that I mean, the heavy breathing and the laugh thing (I can't describe it). She seriosuly somebody right out of a storybook... or a t.v show, or she should be.
So I have that to look forward to every Wendsday night.
What I dont have to look forwards to: Expensive materials and learning how to use a metal reil. And I thought the plastics ones were hard....
