Wow I haven't posted in here in a long time.
This summer was so awesome, seriously. I went to the beach more than i originally thought I was going to, and I had a lot of fun. But i CANNOT believe how fast it went by! I really don't want to go back to school. It's not fair! I'm scared about being a junior and about this being the hardest year. I'm scared I'm going to fuck up and there's no room for that. At the same time I'm happy because I can't wait to be done with Nanuet and go off to college.
Even thought I'm dreading going back to school, at the same time i'm looking forward to it because I'm doing a lot of things this year and keeping busy- which means it will go by fast.
I went on a complete shopping spree with my mom the other day for back to school shopping. I got some really clothes, so I'm ok in the wardrobe department. I also got this pair of really pretty shoes (of course) but now I sort of regret getting them because they aren't very practical for every day use. Still I have some parties and weddings to go to that I can wear them to hehe. I got a few other accessories, so I'm all set for school.
my birthday is in 5 days, I just can't believe it. I dont know where the past year has gone but OK. i'm really excited; i can't wait to get my permit. of course my birthday is on a sunday meaning i have to wait for that monday, which might be a problem. watch i wont go until thursday when it's open until 8:30 or whatever.
I feel so bad for New Orleans and all the other cities hit by hurricane katrina. they kept saying a category 5 hurricane but I dont think it ever really hit me as to how bad it really was going to be. what disgusts me is how barbaric humans can become when these terrible things happen. men are raping women, people are being murdered, people are left for dead. i really dont think that the government was as prepared as it could have been. as it should have been. i could understand if the storm was unexpected or if they had't received a sufficient warning, but these people knew at least 5 days before the storm hit. then the national guard was nowhere to be found. jeshush what a mess. they should be ashamed of themselves.
