Comment: They used to be one of my favorite bands but then I just stopped listening to them for a while... ANYWAYS, after rashkae and lilac_neko was saying how addicted their song Cyclone is, I decided to give their newest album DIAMOND a listen. I must say I am really impressed lol. Many people didn't like this album comparing to their older releases. Their style did change quite a lot and Wataru's improve quite a lot as well. They are not as dark and heavy sounding as before. Anyways, Mr.LIAR is my favorite song from the album lol. It's a light(?) pop-rock song with a little bit of jazz feeling to it. I really like the opening as it already catch my attention and I love how Wataru goes "whooo" XD A VERY ADDICTING song. It makes me want to sing along and do a little dance xD;

Comment: This is their 2nd single which is dated back in the 2004 and when they are still an indie band. I don't know why but I love this song even though the vocalist's voice was a bit rough back then. This song is the reason why I started listening to 12012 lol. Anyways, Shudder has a much darker sound and with occasional screamings. What can I say XD this what I normally listen to lol.

Comment: This band disbanded this early Jan. It's such a shame because they sounded really promising for such a young band (form in Dec 2006). The reason I decided to give them a try is because they have a keyboardist as one of their members. I am not sure how to categorize their style beacuse they are not exactly heavy/dark nor are they pop rock. I just LOVELOVELOVE how they started the song with (I am assuming) string sounding keyboard with opera voice. Comparing to many of the J-Rock bands I listen to Rio has a pretty good voice and his voice reminded me of the vocalist from the band camino but sharper(?) (well in my opinion anyways =P)

Comment: omg Mika, where do I even start XD I just love his music. This whole entire album is made of win ♥ He is a London based singer-songwriter and his style is along the like pop and pop rock. One thing I am amuse about his songs is that he can do some crazy falsettos lol. I am not a fan of falsetto, but I acutally really like this. His music are very cheery/happy and VERY addicting, they make me really happy 8D. There was a whole two week I was playing to his songs over and over again. Grace Kelly is my favorite song from the album. It is a great song with a catchy melody and interesting composition (you can hear the tap-dancing sound in the background). Listen to it if you haven't heard of his music yet, I recommend this :D

Comment: Lily Allen is also a British-based musician. Her style of music is pop having said that her music can be quite "interesting". I am really not sure how to catagorize her voice/singing style. I guess you can say she has a sweet and soft voice? or maybe I'll just say she is very unique XD Alfie is a rather short song nonetheless it's a really fun song to listen to. Also it has a pretty eccentric(?) sound. If you listen to the lyrics it's actually very funny lol. Listen to it and you'll see what I mean XD

Comment: As you might know, this song is from the Disney movie Enchanted (an awesome movie by the way lol). The musical pieces in the movie can get quite addicting (it's probably one of my favorite musical piece so far XD). This song was stucked in my head for a while after I came out from the theatre lol. It's honestly a really fun song to listen to and it makes me smile every time I hear it. I don't know why but I like Amy's voice, it acutally does suit her role in the movie as a innocent/sweet princess. During the middle of the song the talking animals (refering to movie), joined in and sang along, it's very cute lol. James Marsden also take part in this song during the end and did a really short duet with Amy. Like musicals or just want something fun and cheery to listen to? give this a try :D

Comment: Another song by Eason just because his songs really grows on me lol. He has now become one of my most favorite Chinese artist. Eason actually has a pretty wide range and he has a really nice and likeable voice. Like I said in my previous post he is one of skill singers. Anyways, this is a nice song with a pretty piano accompaniment.

Comment: I remember this was uploaded by lilac_neko long ago XD. Anyways, this song is from the Taiwanese drama MARS. As you all probably know I absolutely LOVE Alan's voice. Comparing to many of the male singers in Taiwan, he has a deeper voice and I think his voice really suits these type of songs. Lin is my favorite song by him (for now). This is one of his heavier(?) song, having said that this song (the lyrics) is actually quite sad. If you haven't heard this song already, I recommend you to download this.

Comment: This is another insert song from the Japanese Drama A Song to the Sun. This is another lovely piece including orchestra and piano. I really like the composition of this song and I like the different solos by different instruments at various parts. This song is happier than the song I uploaded last time (from sunset to sunrise), well at least in my opinion it is XD. For those of you who are instrumental fans, I suggests you to give this a try.

Another element that's added in this song I really like is the voice humming in the background. It's a simpler composition and it's much softer comparing to the original one having said that just these three elements alone it didn't fail to bring out the sorrowful feeling. Everything just blends so well and created a really nice sound/effect. I am not sure if I love this one better or the original one. Anyawys, I HIGHLY recommend this for instrumental fans.
