I'm really sorry I haven't been keeping up with FMS for a while. Life has been busy unfortunately. =) I'll try not to go MIA so often, now that summer has begun. As a friendly reminder for requests, please make requests that come from Megumi's playlist under her posts. I realize my list is outdated, but it's really not that out of date. I will update my list as soon as possible though, now that I have some free time.
I did half of this post about two weeks ago, and I meant to post it then, but my internet was being difficult. As an apology for my absence, I added more songs to my post.
One more note, please, please, please respect Megumi's request for comments. We do this because we want to share our interests, and we're glad that so many people visit and find something for themselves, but out of common courtesy, when somebody asks for some feedback, it would be nice if got some. In all seriousness, I thought nobody (except for the regulars) even bothered to visit FMS until Megumi told me there were over 200 downloads for one song. Thank you in advance, for those that respect FMS and our head lady's wishes. ^_^

Title : INNOCENT SORROW
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : INNOCENT SORROW
This is TMR's new side project, and unlike his usual trance type stuff, this is more of a rock song. I honestly feel like I'm listening to Gackt here (when he's not doing ballads). When it comes to TMR, I'm not exactly ecstatic, but my initial reaction to this song was "THIS IS GOOD!". I was blown away by this song, I must admit. Towards the end, it reminds me a little of HnMC, but with better screaming. XD

Title : Natural Beauty
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : Natural Beauty
This has to be their best album. I love it too much. I really like how they played with the programming without affecting the raw acoustic sound too much. Natural Beauty is one of their more midtempo songs off of this album, but CoS does an amazing job finding a balance between power and control. The vocalist's singing is powerful, yet soothing at the same time.

Title : May It Be
Language : English
Album/Single : The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring OST
I was about to make this post without including this song, but then I decided to give it a listen, and I couldn't resist. This is so amazingly beautiful. I haven't enough words to describe what this song makes me feel when I listen to it, so I guess you'll just have to see for yourself.

Title : 野に咲く花のように (pf. style) (no ni saku hana no youni)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : 野に咲く花のように (no ni saku hana no youni)
From our resident pretty boy, Gackt. Recently, I haven't been too fond of his singing, but his voice makes me melt here. Gackt's voice is so much more controlled than I've heard in his last few singles. He's backed by the piano alone (probably accompanying himself, no doubt). Everything about this song is absolutely perfect, and I prefer it much more than the original version (although not as much as the minna no uta version). His incorporation of Pachebel's Canon is very nice however, which is why I was compelled to post this version instead (and the thought of Gackt playing piano). XD

Title : 桜日和 (Sakura Biyori)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : 桜日和 (Sakura Biyori)
The song that initially had me take notice of this artist. After listening to many of Hoshimura Mai's other works, I realized I didn't appreciate this song because of Bleach, but moreso the fact that it is a piece of art. I was also surprised that this isn't quite like her other works. In any case, this song is incredibly lyrical, and I really like the variety of instruments that she decided to incorporate. Bleach or no Bleach, this is definitely recommended!

Title : 永遠の円環 (Eien no Endan)
Language : N/A
Album/Single : kiRite
This is a gorgeous little piano solo and one of my more recent obsessions. It's so serene and gentle. I'm so jealous of anyone who owns the first press of this album, because it came with the piano score for this piece. I highly, highly recommend this.

Artist : 中島美嘉 (Nakashima Mika)
Title : FEVER
Language : English
Album/Single : Sunao na mama
I love how full Mika's voice is in this song. It's slick, smooth and very stylish. All I have to say is, Mika + jazz = ultimate love.

Title : So Beautiful
Language : N/A
Album/Single : Dress me Up
I have mixed feelings about this song. Depending on my mood, this can be either incredibly good, or annoying. Luckily, I'm in the mood where it sounds really good to me. It's a little all over the place, but I still enjoy it for the most part, which is what compelled me put it up. Well, that and my preference for OLIVIA's older works. ^_^

Title : しっぽの歌 f(Shippo no Uta)
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : ニコパチ (Nikopachi), しっぽの歌 (Shippo no Uta)
Request This is probably one of the cutest songs in the world. I discovered it first (before I fell in love with Yoake no Octave), but it's still good. I remember once reading that her comment for this song was just full out laughing in her liner notes for Nikopachi. You can tell she had a lot of fun recording this, and likewise, it's a lot of fun to listen to.

Title : Without Me
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : When Pop Hits the Fan
I probably should have made this a side project post. This is Amuro Namie's R&B side project from a few years back, right before she fully took on a style change. Though at first I wasn't too fond of this song, it's really grown on me (especially after watching her perform it on her Live Style 2006 tour). This can get a bit repetitive, and I tend to zone out at times, but it's catchy nonetheless. It can be a very good song to listen to when you're in for something a bit more smooth.

Title : CROSS SEASON
Language : Japanese
Album/Single : CROSS SEASON
I'm well aware that a lot of people just hate this song, even fans of Nami, but I happen to like it quite a bit. I found this incredibly light and refreshing (both the song and Nami). Simple, yet pleasing to the ear.
