All Sakamoto Maaya songs for this week in honour of her new album (Yuunagi LOOP) that was recently released (and made it to #8 on ORICON!) Unfortunately, my comments aren't going to be interesting, so you may skip them since I don't feel like writing right now. =P As for requesting songs from me, I don't have my playlist uploaded but you can still try. My playlist is more or less similar to Megumi's... a whole lot smaller though. o_o

The song that made Sakamoto Maaya famous. This is Maaya's first recorded song during her work with Escaflowne. Probably one of her more well-known songs (equal to or next to Yubiwa), however, no matter how overplayed it can be, it's still a beautiful song that will entice you and expose you to the wonderful world of Escaflowne.

Jumping to Maaya's latest single, this was the ending theme to Tsubasa Chronicles... or something to that extent. This shows off Maaya's more mature voice and outlook compared to her optimistic school girl days (however, it's still optimistic, just like the Maaya we all know and love). A lovely melody that suits Maaya's personality perfectly, download it while you can (and if you don't already have it).

Oooo, minor key. I don't know where this comes from but it's still a great song. The accompaniment and band are terrific against Maaya's singing, and she pours a lot of emotion. This sounds more or less similar to her Lucy days but with a little bit of a different twist.

I have two links for this song because I accidentally uploaded it twice. This must be my favourite song associated with Escaflowne. It's so light-hearted and fun, and reflects Hitomi's personality perfectly straight off the beginning of the series. If you don't have it yet, download it!

This is off of Maaya's second singles collection, Nikopachi. It's very simple and folk-like. The melody flows easily and it is really relaxing to listen to. ^_^
