Wow - saw Serenity again tonight, and met alot of nice people at the theater. We were standing in a huge line for tickets (just overall atlanta business, not tickets for Serenity specifically), and a guy came up to us and asked us if we were going to see Serenity. Maybe Joelle's "geek" shirt tipped him off, who knows? He had bought tickets on the internet and ended up with two extras, so he sold them to us (for the same price that we would have paid in line) and we didn't have to wait! We ended up sitting together with him, his wife, and about ten of their friends. The whole theater was full, as well as another theater showing it at the exact same time, 9:50. There was also a 10:30 show that I'm sure sold well, judging from how many geeky people were in line :).
Everyone needs to go see this movie. If you go see it, it will make money, and then they will make more! So go see it! Take your friends! Make them, perhaps, bring their extended family, or buy an extra ticket... really, it's a small price to pay to have another movie, really, if you think about it...
