My stomach feels better today - still the lingering hint of 'I *could* make you hurt, but I'll play nice'. I'm trying to keep up my momentum of eating less, since I haven't felt much like eating the past few days.
Anyways, other news:
- I was refunded for my ill-fated purchase of Voyager 1-7, which is really nice, since it was almost 400 bucks.
- A few of us here at the office are looking at doing a corporate van pool. Basically, this commuting company provides us with a stylish 15 passenger ford van, insurance, etc, and we pay a flat monthly fee that our employer will reimburse. Since 7 of us all live within 2 miles of each other in midtown, and each of us commutes up to Dunwoody every day, this may be a good option. Especially with gas prices so high, and my new SUV not getting great gas mileage (though it does get much better than most).
- Really enjoying some old music I found on my itunes. It's a friend of mine, recorded on his computer. He did a whole album, and I still really like it after 5 years. Here is one of my favorites, but all of them are good.
- Still housesitting - the gig is up on Sunday. I can't wait until everyone gets back, because I miss them all so much. I also can't wait, because I want to go to my home.
- The urge is on me to spend large amounts of time in front of a sci-fi series to escape from my mundane and kind of blah life as it is right now. Unfortunately, I have watched and rewatched farscape and firefly so many times, they hold no joy.
- I have the lingering feeling that important mail is waiting for me. Mail about my new car, that may contain the bill for my first car payment (ever). Mail that may contain my new license plate, new insurance card, and/or bills unrelated to my car that I've forgotten about and can't pay online. Hrm. Oh well, nothing to be done.
- On that note, does anyone want to buy my Jetta? It's a '99, 87k miles, in really good condition, dark green, with cd/tape, power door locks, and years of built-up coolness from having me drive it. Think of the prestige. I'm asking 6500 FIRM.
