I've had a great weekend. Friday nite I drove to Athens with the lovely Susan (lilycascade), who was hiding out from Hurricane Frances. We went to eat at Caliente Cab, and then to the CCF house for much fun and games, and then to the Grill (where I saw John (ceruleanmelody)) and had chocolate malts and fries with feta. FETA. Mmmmmm. Feta. fetafetafetafeta. But I digress. We didn't get back until around 2, so I slept in the next day, got up and did some laundry, and then went to the music store and bought a piano (for much cheaper than the price listed on that link). I'm going to start playing again, and have been interviewing with different teachers in the atlanta area. For those of you that don't know, I took about 7 years of lessons and was pretty good when I was younger, but I quit about 8 years ago and can hardly play anything now. I am pleased to find out that I can still read music, however. Anyways, so I bought that, came to my parents house in Dalton, and have been hanging out here for a few days. I'll be back in the ATL tomorrow (sorry for narrowly missing you Aaron!), whereupon I will try to haul my keyboard upstairs alone. Then I will enlist the support of one of my neighbors that I haven't bothered to meet.

Other items of note: I finally found a really great girly-doctor. My eczema on my hands is back with a vengeance :(. My tickets for TMBG and the Tragically Hip just came in the mail. My feet are cold. And, finally, I'm on AIM but there's no one to talk to. So I'm going to bed.

athens, big fun, consumerism, blah, music, girly
