Some funky programs I discovered for the Mac:
Sticky Windows shrinks your open windows into tabs when you drag your window to the edge of your screen.
WindowShadeX returns the functionality of the older Mac OS that lets you minimise your windows into shades when you double-click on their title bars. And
Marsedit is a 'better' blogging software which I can't get to post, so too bad.
I thought Marsedit would come with the same 'full' set of features that I was used to in Semagic, but no ... so I'm not sure why people would pay for Marsedit. So I'm trying out Phoenix instead, which, is closer to Semagic, but slower or clunkier.
Nice thing about Phoenix is it lets you save macros which Xjournal doesn't do, but Phoenix doesn't seem to give you previews of your posts, which Xjournal does. I prefer Xjournal's interface which is more elegant.
Actually scratch Phoenix, I'll stick with Xjournal 'cos I'm a sucker for good design.

I found a recipe for swordfish the other day. It involved lime peel, lime juice, honey, soy, and ginger. And broiling. It was weird, and I don't know if that's due to the recipe, or me.

Justin left for Hong Kong today. We had lunch at the Lounge downstairs which sucked. He had fish and chips that looked like calamari, weird potato wedges, and some weird paste that should've been mayo. I had wild rice sautéed with mushrooms, spinach, and chorizo sausages on a napoli base. Maybe they were aiming for al dente, but the wild rice wasn't cooked:
'Man, you can't trust white people to cook rice.'
'Hey that looks like what those Amazonians who shot at the plane would eat.'
'Those orange people?'
'Yeah.'
'Dude they're Oompa Loompahs man ... hey I bet they can cook rice.'
We walked around a bit and then caught Prince Caspian (first choice was The Hulk except that hasn't open), which rocked. I'm turning into a sucker for clichés in my old age, there were moments when I was teary, which was kinda lame. And I was quite aware too, trying to work out what it was that tugged at the heart strings. I narrowed it down to the lighting and the grand score.
