A Girl and Her Dog

I've started Oh, like 6? different drawing projects lately. And I have stalled out on every one of them. This latest one was inspired by an art nouveau book that i picked up while out of town. I wanted to try and do something in a similar style, but with more modern/futuristic themes. And you can't get more futuristic than a girl and her cyber puppy.
I need to figure out a pattern that will fill the little windows that run around the boarder, and i need to figure out a background. I was thinking sort of post apocalyptic style things like maybe a desert cliff, or an abandoned gas station, or even the inside of an abandoned house maybe.
