Gilligan's BIke
I'm not a huge tree hugger or anything. Meat tastes too good to not eat. I'd buy a hybrid if there were the same price as a normal car. I use the compact florecent bulbs (which i must say i have not have to change a single one of them in the what? 3 years now that I've had this apartment. So that's cool.) I like the idea of recycling and preserving, and would do more of it if it were cooler and or easier.
I saw this website Bamboo bikes where they have a class to teach you how to make your own bike frame out of bamboo. One of the things i liked about the company is so far they are going with the idea of it is better to teach people to do this so they can teach others and eventually many people can make their own, instead of jacking up the price for the class, or even selling the frames as some novelty thing.
Anyway, if you are interested they do a much better job of explaining their ideas then I do so go check it out.
I'd love to have more things made form Bamboo if you know, it didn't Scream Gilligan's Island.
Maybe a bamboo car would have some nostalgic coolness to it.
