HYD - Hanazawa Rui + Makino Tsukushi

And so, with every new obsession, I must icon to show my love! Hana Yori Dango Live Action is my latest interest. I've caught up with all of Season 1, and I'm currently staying tune each week for Season 2. I didn't realize how addicting Japanese dramas could be. (I'm also looking into Kimi wa Petto, Hana Kimi, etc.) I've also become extremely attached to Oguri Shun and Matsumoto Jun. Though Shun just a tiny bit more as is obvious by this icon post.
Oguri Shun's portrayal of Hanazawa Rui, particularly in Season 2, has swayed me over to the Rui/Tsukushi camp even though I know how Hana Yori Dango is supposed to end up. (GAH! Why do I always like the other guy? Aka the guy who will never end up with the heroine?! *bangs head on desk*) With the manga and anime, I was firmly a Tsukasa/Tsukushi shipper. But now, I'm an R/T fan. Though of course, MatsuJun wins me over as well. So I'm constantly swaying back and forth between the two. XD;; It's just - you can see how much they both love her. And I totally bemoan the fact that Rui didn't fall for her at the same time she was in love with him. Timing, people! Timing! -_-' One of my favorite Rui moments in Season 2 has to be when he was walking at night, and sees a girl with an Eitoku uniform (Episode 6). His face gets hopeful as he thinks it's Makino, but the girl turns around, and it's not her. Then he smiles and looks down, and has this look on his face - a 'What was I thinking?' kind of look. It totally broke my heart for him.
Okie, enough fangirl rambling. HYD really just hooks you in, though. XD;; I hope you like the following icons, and I am very aware of the fact that some of them suck. XP I really need to expand on my icon-making skills. ^^ Well, enjoy~! ♥
