Ugh, today was my first day back at school. I suppose it wasn't too bad, it's just the whole getting up early thing I hate.
At least the only full day I have is a Friday, so I can avoid the sixth form block as much as possible [ie, all the people I hate... that being around 90% of my sixth form].
Just spent all morning in Media, have now nearly finished my double page spread... finally.

Xmas / New Year was okay I guess, even though I think it's overrated / over-hyped anyway. Spent New Years at a house party, drunken and dancing [which is the best way to be!] and playing Sonic the Hedgehog on the Megadrive! It was a fun night, even if I did have to work the next day.

Recently I've been trying to find Directors to study for Film Studies, but I keep getting distracted and just watching a load of films! I watched The Graduate and Good Bye Lenin [a German film] the other day and both were really, really good. I love films with subtitles because I love listening to people talk in another language. Also, after watching Good Bye Lenin I fell in love with Daniel Bruhl

and I have also fallen in love with the drummer of the Kaiser Chiefs. I can't find any good photos of him, but in the I Predict A Riot video he's lovely. Haha, I always like the most random of people!

Anyways, a new year means new gigs... not many gigs coming up though;

15.01.05: Dan's band [Mourning-Becomes-Electra] are playing the Colosseum so looks like I will be there.
24.01.05: the NME tour [The Killers, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party and The Futureheads] which is sold out, but we've got some plans ;)
25.01.05: The Others
26.01.05: Adam Green [maybe]
28.01.05: Acre Skye + Mourning Becomes Electra [friends bands again]
02.02.05: Thee Unstrung
05.02.05: 10,000 Things and Queens of Noize
18.02.05: Willy Mason
19.02.05: Eastern Lane [maybe they'll be better this time?]
26.02.05: Thee Unstrung

Um, think that's about it for now. I have History coursework to write, and a History exam to 'revise' for. Woo...

edit: I just remembered, I've got an audioscrobbler thingy. I got it a couple of months ago, and then forgot I had it!

Unfortunately it also records what my sister plays as we both use the same computer. This means Linkin Park, Blink 182 and Good Charlotte may feature a lot. I promise I have good taste in music and it's all her fault [even though no-one ever believes me!]
