i'm finally getting out of whataburger.
i got a serving job at village inn and i really hope it works out nicely.
i'm going to miss WB though, i have the most amazing co-workers who never fail to put a smile on my face. they're the only people i really see other than mitchell and it's gonna be hard not seeing them every day.
i never thought i'd get so close to people that i work with, i care about all of them a whole lot.
alas, the job got old, the pay isn't high enough. i don't want to bust my ass for $7 an hour 40 hours a week at a fast food place, i could get $8 at McDonald's but i'm done with fast food for now.
not to mention i'm tired of putting up with this stupid ass day shift bitch who leaves me all of her work, saying that she doesn't have to do it because the has an "assistant" ASSISTANT MY ASS.
and then when i complain have my managers stick up for her, for not doing her own work?!
saying that she's actually TOO BUSY to do her dishes, but every time i see her she's being a lazy fat ass and chain smoking outside on the clock. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
anywho.
today is mitchell and my 11 months. almost a year hot damn, i would have never thought.
he just got a really good job working with his step-dad at this air conditioning company.
he's getting $9 to start off with, paid vacation time, full benefits when he turns 18, all this stuff.
not just a job, a CAREER and that makes me so happy cause i know he's fully taken care of.
by this time next year he'll be making like $15 an hour =]
7 credits left.
i graduate in may =]
i'm so ready for 2008.
please be a good year, please.
