on tuesday night i went to go see my friend cassie at her work she wasnt there. on wednesday morning at around 3 am cassie drove her car into a tree and died.
so many things are going threw my head right now. Cassie and Phil had just gotten married but they were fighting this weekend and i think she was staying at her familys house. what was the last conversation they had like? were they fighting, did they say things they regret and now can never take back. i really really hope that somewhere in the conversation they said i love you because i know they did despite all the problems they had. A friend of her missed a phone call from her at around 3 am, i wonder if she needed help and she made that one phonecall, and althought it was not the friends fault by any means, it was the last phone call she ever made and it was even anwserd.
We spent all of Wednesday drinking and talking about her and all the fun times everyone had together. In this group of new friends there are a lot of people who don't get along but at least 50 people set aside bullshit to come celebrate her life. My heart hurts so much over her loss and ive only know her a short but fun while. my heart absolutely breaks for Phil and friends who have know cassie for 10 or more years.
Life is to short and can be taken from you at any minute, make sure you let the important people in your life know how important they are to you.
