So, here it is.....3:30am and I'm sittin at home on my comp getting ready to do some more work. I just got back earlier from good ol covina. The drive went pretty smooth, nothing too crazy. I listened to lost of lady tron, the fitness and NIN on the way home. That made for very good times, oh how I love the mono synth. Ever since i saw the fitness play in seattle I've had the idea of a cyber punk band on my mind. With my IDM and synth knowledge combined with my love for good ol punk I think I might be able to pull something off kinda cool. Sounds like a fun little project for me to work on an least. First I gotta save some money and buy myself some recording equipment. This is of coarse inbetween the times of when I'm painting, speaking of..... something I havnt done in a while. Hopefully that can change soon. I have a few paintings I really need to get done! One for my sis, one for my friend chris and one for another friend of mine whoms birthday isnt too far away. So, money will have to be saved and spent on more art materials. Sheesh, those paintings dont even include the ones I have cooking in my own head.
Well, the catalog is finally done and I'm throughly happy about that. Soon we will have 5k professionally printed catalogs...I cant wait. I think this time around with the right sales and marketing plan things can actually take off and work this time. Its kinda nerve racking but at the sametime exciting. I realized tonight that my birthday is next month....gaahhh, I cant believe it. It just seems like its come too soon this time around. As time goes on it seems to speed up and before you know it, several years has passed by and either you've gone somewhere or you havnt. Your either happy with your life or your not and so far I can honestly say I'm pretty happy with whats going on.
This Friday is my first art gallery showing and I'm excited about that. My first public showing of my art, gonna be interesting. Wow, thats in just a couple days...damn, this week has gone by way too fast.
Lots of things going on in my life right now. I just came back from seeing sarah tonight and that was alot of fun. She makes me smile. Something not too many girls have ever been able to make me do. Her family is rad too, they're the nicest people....I mean, her mom cooked me breakfast in the morning! How nice is that. Its an intersting situation thats going on though, having feelings for someone thats in a different town. I did the long distance thing before and its a somewhat difficult thing to do. Its pretty crazy though how well we mesh, how we kinda just seemed to click right together. It still amazes me. The haunted mansion was awesome today, we both made comments about how we want our houses to look like that place. Its funny, my whole life I've been into dark and spooky things. I would always draw monsters and haunted houses when I was a kid. In grammer school, when halloween came around I would always draw the class haunted house. For some reason I've always had a draw and a nack for the dark and spooky. Whats weird though is I've met someone thats nice, sweet, beautiful and shares my same love for creepy stuff.
I cant wait until she comes up here and we can hang out in an unparental controlled environment. Its kinda strange for me to be around parents, I've had my own place for a long long time now and most my friends have lived on their own for sometime too. That or they just end up chillin at my place but with her living out of town thats not really an option. I hope she's able to come visit me more often but with her full time job and school I dont see how thats gonna be too possible. Well, we'll just have to see what happens.
Anyways, so the night goes on. I'm super tired but I have some work I gotta get done so off I go.
