(no subject)
Ahh. For those of you that don't know. My sister is pregnant. 27 weeks pregnant to be exact. She's suppose to be due around September. She's having a boy, his name will be Aiden. Now, the reason I am telling you this is because there is a problem. Please pray to your respective gods and goddess for me that everything will be ok.
Kat: aiden has a defect so he'll have to goto surgery as soon as hes born, cause of that doc says i have to be induced 3 weeks early. was just tryin to compare how small he'll be compared to sean
Me: what do you mean he has a defect??
Kat: and i have to have a c-section too
Kat: he has a hole in his tummy to the right of his belly button and a part of his intestine is outside. thay have to take him to surgery and put it back in
Me: Oh my god.
Me: How did that happen?
Me: Well Sean was a month early so Aiden will prolly weigh about 5 or 6 pounds cause Sean weighed 5.3
Kat: doc says there no way to tell how... said it happens within the first couple of weeks of being preg. he said it pretty common tho and usually doesnt have any other complications
Me: so he's going to be ok then.
Kat: yea they said there will be no long term affects
Me: ok good.
Kat: did they keep sean in the hosiptal any longer cause he was early?
Me: we were in the hopsital for 2-3 days
Kat: they said cause of the surgery that they'll have to keep him for at least 2 weeks cause of the chance of infection
Me: that sucks. I'm so sorry.
Kat: means im gonna have to go home and leave him there
Kat: but the only complication they said could happen is if the hole becomes too tight around the intestine they might have to take a small part out, but ive been goin for an ultrasound every 2 weeks and so far they said its fine
