My wardrobe exploded. We were sitting in the lounge, which is miles from my room, and suddenly, over the tv, we heard what sounded like thunder. Tina and I freaked, and rushed down there. The nephew was asleep in the other room and we thought he might have been up to something or that my poor invalid Mouse had pulled something down on himself. But no. Nephew still asleep, and when I peeked into my room everything seemed fine. Mouse was still curled up in the corner on the bed I made him. And then I took a step inside.
And noticed that the entire contents of my wardrobe had fallen out onto the floor.
Now I admit, I have heaps of clothes and take up an entire double wardrobe, and there was a box of clothes on the shelf, but wardrobes should be able to stand up to that sort of punsihment. But no, we have to move into a spanking new house and they sure don't make wardrobe fittings like they used to. Ours are all plastic brackets and the rails and shelves are of the white plastic covered metal that clothes airers are made of. What utter crap.
So now, until it's fixed, god only knows what I'm gonna do with all my stuff. Piles and piles of clothes with hangers attached are sitting in the corner of my room and taking up the space we so don't have. And I couldn't be bothered cleaning up the other mess, so theres a box sitting on the floor and magazines, xmas presents, shoes and bags littering the floor in front of the wardrobe. I can't even close the doors.....
