i seldom ever go to movies, but when bernabe was here for new years, we were at a loss of something late-night to do, so we caught the last show of the evening, which happened to be gran torino. i really had wanted to see it, was glad we caught it, and at the end, i was devastated that it was over.

such a phenomenal film. i'd not been sucked into a film like that since 'there will be blood'.
