(no subject)
Hey ya'll .. I guess it's about time I did a real update for once, haha* Seeing as how things are getting ready to get completely crazy around here, I better go on and do it now or I won't have time to do it before I get home for the summer! First off, here's what's coming up :
* Monday, April 25th to Thursday, April 28th - Last full week of classes
* Monday, May 2nd - Last Religion Class, Child Psyc Final, last Grocery Store run before finals week! haha
* Tuesday, May 3rd - Last day of class (Personality Psyc and Music), and trip to Arches with my girls!! =D
* Friday, May 6th - Personality Psyc Final
* Monday, May 9th - Music 210 Final Paper due
* Thursday, May 12th - Religion Final and headin home for summer!!
Shewy, I am so ready to get all this work finished and be able to just BE for an entire summer .. Actually, I can't believe it's already so close tho .. like really, i feel like i just moved in up here, and now i'm 2 weeks away from being done with 2 years of college .. it is so crazy how time goes by so fast these days .. which i really like in some ways, and in others i just feel like screaming SLOW DOWN, there is so much i still want to do and time is just slipping away from me .. haha, that sounds like i'm already an old woman or something, lol.. i know i still have lots of time, but it just gets scary to see how fast years can pass you by .. i mean, we've already been talking about rooming ideas for our 4th year, and then i've been looking at grad schools and seeing what all i need to take to apply, and i just feel like i got into uva, haha, and now it's already half over with .. which really makes me sad ..
I am so happy here with everything, i'm settled and totally having fun, and i don't want the time i have with these people to go by as quickly as it is .. i mean, i still have 17 days before summer and i'm already missing them .. =/ ya know, i really hope that everyone who goes away to school is blessed with meeting the kind of people that i've met here .. Lauren, Elaine, Alia, and Paige are not only some of the best friends i've ever had, they're good people, with good hearts .. they are each a blessing in my life, and each day i just look around at us, talking, eating dinner, watching tv, studying, goofing off, and just LIVING and it makes me so happy .. a day doesn't go by here that i don't get a hug or smile or an i love you or just something to brighten my day from someone that i live with .. and of course there is my tie to my childhood, and my support through everything .. my best friend since i was 3 who is now my roommate in college .. anjali is truly one of the greatest people i have ever known, and to have her here with me is something that i thank God every day for .. life in c-ville is good, better than that .. it's amazing, and i am truly gonna miss it this summer ..
BUT knowing that i get to go home to some people that i have missed more than words can even express is something that makes me sooooooooooooooooooo excited!! this is probably going to be my last summer coming home, so i know that my girls and i will make it the best one ever!! oh the times we will have, the laughs, cries, and crazy nights .. i can see it already, it's going to be great!! =D
life is good .. what else can i say? i'm lovin' it!! =D
