so. I have this kitten picture that is utterly sweet. I want to have it as the "main image" thingie of our invitations and possibly whatever else I can splash it on. I would post it but it's saved on my computer and I can't remember where the heck I got it. anyway since invitation makers don't really let people design their own invites (well, for under an arm and a leg, anyway) I'm thinking of making my own and going to Kinko's. the thing is, I don't know if that would be cost-effective. I looked up their site and they say that they indeed do invitation stuff but they don't give any hint of what anything might cost. the upsides of doing it myself - it'll be personal, include the kittens, and I don't have to pick through a million or compromise - I can put in what I want the first time and it'll save me a lot of waffling, and that is what wedding planning years in advance is for. : )
so does anyone have experience going to Kinko's? do you know what things like special paper, special size, multiple copies, etc. cost in general? do they sell envelopes for their paper sizes? what kind of printing processes and inks do they have? et cetera.
long live supercute kittens!!
