all right, ok, so originally the subject was just going to be "hey deven" to get your attention, but then I thought gee, why not go the extra mile? : D

anyhoo... there's this business of going in to St. Thomas on a Wednesday for their rcia inquiry. since this Wednesday (the 27th) I'm going to go to the lecture about the vagina monologues, I was considering telling you to buck up and go by yourself.
but you got off the hook, and you want to know what you should thank?
weddings.

see, I LOVE the interior of that church. and when we finally saw the outside front of it (note: we'd always entered through a side door before), I fell madly in love.* it is GORGEOUS. and as much as I dearly love Fr. Louis at St. Helen's, I'd much rather go to a church that allows for a lot more orthodoxy. and if you don't understand why, think of a teen Mass.
the thing is, to be married there, we have to be registered there. registering most likely means going to the office first, and the office is closed on Sundays. However, they're open till 8:00 pm on Wednesdays... see where this is going? you so smart, Marzipan. ^_^
so the Wednesday after next, shall we go to the inquiry and see about registering me as a parishioner? I love you.....

p.s. if it encourages you any, they only have weddings at 10 am and 2 pm on Saturdays. I would probably opt for the 10 am one because then reception would be more of a lunch thing and people wouldn't feel like hors d'ouerves gypped them out of a real dinner. the sooner, the wedding, the sooner the reception, the sooner the end of the reception, which means the sooner we can leave and
