ATTENTION FRIENDSLIST!!
Thanks to the wonderful speccygeekgrrl and her Christmas prezzie of a rename token, I am no longer pruegirl17. I have changed my LJ user name to _emomuffin.
So, yeah, it's me just in _emomuffin form. XD

No one probably cares but me, but hey, I'm putting this anyway.
The emo part comes from, obviously, my love of all things emo: the music, the clothes, the skinny eyeliner wearing boys. I'm an emo kid, yo.
And the muffin part actually has 2 meanings. First of all, I love me some muffins. They're one of my favorite foods and sometimes I'll just eat muffins for every meal.
Also, the first original character in the first original story I ever wrote was nicknamed 'muffin', and she was loosely based on me. Her real name was Hannah Wallace and no, I don't remember why she's nicknamed muffin, but she is and hey, I was fourteen at the time! XD But it's kind of my writerly origins, y'know?
So yeah, emo-y, muffin-y me. :D
Changing my username was really a powerful experience. I know that sounds weird, but it's like...I just shed that skin of teenager-high-schoolness, of the girl who used to watch Charmed and use netspeak and write bad!fic. Now, it's a new (hopefully better) chapter in my life.
It was cathartic. :D :D
