and made a fist.

I sat there patient--
Tears began to weld
My breathing grew heavier
As he screamed and yelled.

He said he caught me cheating
Messin with some other guy
When he was chillen with his boys
They were ALWAYS getting high.

I guessed this was that time
He had had his fun
Told me to stay put
As he ran and got his gun.

My throat locked up
My heart started to pound
He raised the gun to wards me
Not even making a sound.

My eyes stayed shut
As I heard a loud sound
