I found out about Emily Strange a few days ago while I was surfing LJ(which I do A LOT) and I accidentally put the background from their LJ as the background on my desktop. Then I saw the Emily The Strange text on the background, googled it, and found out about Emily The Strange.
I was instantly addicted(I am pretty much addicted to any and all things that have to do with cats), and I decided to see other fans on LJ just now. So, yeah. I act on impulse a lot. ^^;;
I'm not sure whether this is allowed or not, so I put it behind a cut. There's no pics, but if you'd like I'll post some soon, I'm getting a digital camera. :D
Winky- A scrawny tortiseshell calico female who likes junk food and canned cat food. She is very affectionate towards females, but sometimes we 'fight' for the right of being top cat (You may not know this, but when your cat is staring at you she either wants attention -or in my cats case, food- or she's trying to compete with you for top cat-ness, I read that in The cats mind by Dr. Bruce Fogle).
Trouble- Mackeral Tabby Tomcat, who doesn't fit his name (He's an angel). He's big, muscular and an outdoorsey fellow. He is very, very affectionate towards me and my mother, but is fairly tolerant of other humans, female cats, kittens, dogs(when he's in a good mood), etc. The only thing he does NOT tolerate is other cats (male or female) trying to take his territory.
My parents also have other kitties but I honestly don't know them well enough to tell you about them, plus my parents are constantly trying to send them off to the pound (but I almost always win.. last time they sent Winky's lover, Panther(another female, but hey, they didn't get pregnant) to the pound. *wails and beats wall* WHY???
Now that Winky is pregnant, anybody want some kittens? Three black ones(Two females, one male), one black tortie(female) and two orange tabbies(both males). We're located in Dallas currently, and I'm sorry if this is innapropriate, but it DOES have to do with cats and three of those kittens look just like Emily's..
