(no subject)
Christmas this year is kind of sucky to me, no one's in the holiday spirit. Hardly anyone in our neighborhood have lights up outside, we're the only ones on our street with lights are our lights are not the greatest display but at least we're into it. Yesterday in the parking lot outside of Target I saw this car that was decorated with tinsel and christmas lights! That funny because I was thinking of something like that just a few minutes before that car drove past me. I think I'll do that next Christmas.
Anyway, tonight I ate out with some of my friends at a popular Japanese restaurant called Miyabi's. We went there because Diana and Sarah worked there. The only thing I really like about it is the way it looks inside and that's about it. There's not much of a variety in the menu, everything comes with shrimp which is fine with me because I love shrimp. But the restaurant's completely americanized, the chefs aren't even Japanese and all they serve as the main course is ___teriyaki. They took forever with my sushi and I almost cancelled my order because it was late. I prefer the one that Jay and I go to called Mikoto's...it's must smaller and homey, everyone's Japanese, there's no big grill in front of the table it's all brought to you, and it feels like you're eating at someone's house. Jay and I will be eating there in about 2 weeks. hehe
