Whatever floats your boat. Any lossless conversion is fine by me.

(In your case, i'd even trust you to tweak the lossy ones.)

Just for my edification, what's the difference between PNG and GIF formats? They're both colortable-and-index-based schemes, right?

Shoot, I'm not totally sure. I think PNG is more general: it can do bitmap, indexed, 8-bit grey, 16grey, RGB8, RGB16, all with a tunable, lossless compression scheme. It might not be supported on some older Windows machines, but anything made/released in the last 3 years supports it. Even macs!

I thought about that, but deliberately left it off to try to keep it more minimal. I was already struggling with the stuff already. I was trusting that most folks would assume it was evening by default, and given it's a ticketed show, they can't get too far without finding out it's doors at 7:30, downbeat at 8. I also left off price, even tho the show isn't at all pricy for an Ark event ($12).
