But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23
We just had a chapel speaker that spoke about what biblical masculinity is . He said the fruits of the spirit are not feminine qualities as many feel. Jesus is the perfect example of masculinity and he acted out all the fruits.
He did not take advantage of prostitutes throwing themselves at his feet (he even protected them). He was gentle with the poor, he stood up for the little man. One of my favorite things that Jesus did was reinstating Peter after he betrayed him 3times. That act right there covers all of the fruits. Peter seemed to be the most "masculine" of them all, "I will stay with you to the end Jesus!" But peter bounced.
Isaiah 42:3
A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out.
"to serve and protect"- that's what I should be doing.
