"Across our nation, many mothers and fathers experience an unresolved and often undefined grief associated with the loss of a child to abortion. This pain often increases with time and life changes.
In trying to resolve their grief, some have received support of families, friends, places of worship, and through post abortion counseling services. Most however, suffer their burden in silence.
The mothers, fathers and families of aborted fetal children all have their own special needs. However, one common need is for a unique place of healing, where loss and grief can be shared with others who have suffered similarly, and where the unborn can be honored and remember in a tangible way.
The National Memorial for the Unborn is dedicated to healing generations of pain associated with the loss of aborted children.
A fifty foot granite wall holds remembrance plaques. Those who have lost children to abortion are encouraged to place their plaque on the "Wall of Names." Plaques may include the name of an unborn child, a special message or reference, and a date.
For information on memorializing a baby lost to abortion contact the National Memorial for the Unborn at (800) 505-5565."
