so i got my heart broken today...OUCH i know. well i was at my sisters...an me and the kids were outside...well the neighbor girl Cassidy which by the way is such a sweet girl i love her...shes 7. well her and her friend were on a walk an they walked passed an didnt say nething...so rileigh runs up to her, an just starts talkin to her...and cassidy was soooooooooo rude to her...an then Gabi went an was talkin to her...an then Gabi comes back and asks me why shes being so mean...an then rileigh tells her about their neighbors Randi and Jeremy an how they just had a baby, an Cassidy was just like...SO, my moms gunna have a baby in like 3 weeks. an for sum reason how mean she was being to em BROKE MY HEART...an then Gabi who is 6 is asking me you know why she was mean, and i tryed to explain to her, that sumtimes when girls get around other girls there mean to their friends...an tried tellin her that shes not gunna always keep the same friends that there gunna change, and to always remember to be nice to people...even if they are mean to you....gosh....i love them...
an then i was puttin Samuel to sleep...man o man i love rocking him to sleep. im in love with this boy...an hes at a perfect age 1. an just to hear him say my name "cay cay" makes me melt!!!!!!
so i was readin this book. an i read this part about forgiving...The word "forgiveness" in Greek is aphieme and it means "to let go from ones power possession, to let go free, let escape." It means to take someone off your hook and place them on God's hook. It is a decision and not a feeling. Does forgiveness mean that we are saying what the person did was not wrong after all? Quite the contrary. It means we are letting them go free regardless of the offense. It is an act of grace-giving a gift that is undeserved.
i just love that, cuz its so true...everyone should forgive everyone, no matter how big it is. just let it go, forgive em, and let God take care of it. what they did wrong should be left up to them n god. yah know? weird cuz i read that saturday night at my sisters, then sunday morning at church, the whole serman was about forgiving...WEIRD.
